Guitar is one of the musical instruments. Until now there is
no one can answer who is the invented guitar. Even if we ask the guitar company
like Fenders or Gibson, they cannot give the accurate answer of who invented
guitar. Maybe the closest time we know this instrument is in 4000 or 5000 years
ago. Someone claim that the guitar is development of the “Lute” or even of the
ancient Greek “Kithara”. Someone claims the first string instruments is from
the Greek and called “Kithara”,

Around 2500 - 2000 CE more advanced harps, such as the
opulently carved 11-stringed instrument with gold decoration found in Queen
Shub-Ad's tomb, started to appear.

What is guitar anyway ?
Guitar is one of the musical instruments that can be played
with fingers or a guitar pick. Guitar consists of the body and the neck that
have strings attachment from the neck to the body. A guitar was defined having
a long, fretted neck, flat wooden soundboard, ribs, and a flat back, most often
with incurved sides. The first is have 4 strings, now we can see 12 strings or
more. Guitars are traditionally constructed of various woods and strung with
animal gut or, more recently, with either nylon or steel strings. Some modern
guitars are made of polycarbonate materials. Guitars are made and repaired by
luthiers. There are two primary families of guitars: acoustic and electric.
The modern word guitar, and its antecedents, have been
applied to a wide variety of cordophones since ancient times and as such is the
cause of confusion. The English word guitar,
the German gitarre, and the French guitare were adopted from the Spanish guitarra, which comes from the
Andalusian Arabic قيثارةر
qitara, itself derived from the Latin
cithara, which in turn came from the
Ancient Greek κιθάρα kithara, and is
thought to ultimately trace back to the Old Persian language. Tar means string in Persian.
