Kara's Flower - The Fourth World (1997)The Fourth World (1997) is an album released by the Los Angeles band Kara's Flowers.  The album contains 11 tracks plus one bonus track on the Japanese edition. 
The band signed with Reprise Records and released the album on August 19, 1997. However, the band had little success with the album and parted with the record label two years later.This was the first and only album officially released by the band under the name of Kara's Flowers. They continued to explore different musical styles until finally coming together again with James Valentine to form Maroon 5, who released subsequent albums thereafter.

Songs About Jane is the debut album of American pop rock band Maroon 5, released June 25, 2002 on J Records and Octone Records. The album became a sleeper hit with help of five singles that attained chart success, including the Billboard hit "Harder to Breathe" and international hits "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved". It was re-released on October 14, 2003, and by the end of 2004, had reached the top-ten of the US Billboard 200 chart. Songs About Jane had sold nearly 2.7 million copies by the end of 2004 and has been certified multi-platinum in sales in several countries.

It Won't Be Soon Before Long is Maroon 5's second studio album, released on May 22, 2007. It came almost a full five years after their debut, Songs About Jane. The name was inspired by a phrase the band adopted to keep themselves motivated while on their tour. The album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling 429,484 copies in its first week. It Won't Be Soon Before Long has 12 songs, plus 7 bonus tracks. The band stated in interviews that the album has a different feel to it from the Songs About Jane.

Hands All Over is the third studio album by the American rock band Maroon 5. Produced by veteran producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, the album was released by A&M/Octone Records on September 21, 2010. On July 12, 2011, the band re-released the album to include their summer hit "Moves Like Jagger". The lead single, "Misery", was released in June 2010. "Give a Little More" followed as the second single in August 2010, "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" as the third single in February 2011, and "Moves Like Jagger" as the fourth single in June 2011. A moderate success on the charts, selling over 500,000 copies in the United States, the album received generally favorable reviews from music critics, many of them praising it for its production. Some critics have noted that the album features more of a soulful style than Maroon 5's previous works.
