Audioslave is
the eponymous debut studio album by the American rock supergroup Audioslave and
was released on November 19, 2002 (see 2002 in music). The album's music
features Chris Cornell providing his familiar classic rock-esque wails and
croons to the songs. It features the hit singles "Cochise",
"Show Me How to Live", "What You Are", "Like a
Stone", and "I Am the Highway". The record was certified triple
platinum in the US. "Like a Stone" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy
Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
2. Out Of Exile
(2005)
Out of Exile is the second studio album by the American rock
supergroup Audioslave, first released on May 23, 2005 internationally and a day
later in the United States. It is the band's only number one album on the Billboard
200. Four singles were released: "Be Yourself", "Your Time Has
Come", "Doesn't Remind Me", and "Out of Exile".
"Doesn't Remind Me" was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at
the 2006 Grammy Awards.
3. Revelations
(2007)
Revelations is the third and final studio album by the American
rock supergroup Audioslave. Lead vocalist Chris Cornell departed the band
shortly after release in February 2007. The album was released on September 5,
2006 in the U.S., and a day earlier in the UK. Brendan O'Brien, who has
produced or mixed the albums of numerous major rock acts of the past twenty
years, including Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots,
The Offspring, Pearl Jam, Incubus, and Bruce Springsteen, was at the helm for
this record.
